Interview With Josh Seiden,
Co-Author Of Lean UX

on / by Tomer Sharon

I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Josh Seiden, Managing Director at Neo and co-author of Lean UX: Applying Lean Principles to Improve User Experience (2013). Josh focuses on building bridges between startups and the UX discipline. His approach is extremely pragmatic, reasonable, and smart.

He and I began our conversation about why it is so hard for people to do UX research. We then discussed the different questions startup founders have in early stages of their startups and Josh indicated three big groups of questions: Is there a need for the product? What is the product value? How usable is it? We ended our conversation with Josh’s recommendations to startup teams in very early stages who wish to have an excellent design.
